I-Land Beat was established in 2003 in the island of Crete by Kostas Paragioudakis in order to promote conscious reggae music to the people. Due to a need to present an absolute experience, I-Land Beat sound system was created in 2008.
In 2012 the sound moved to western Austria where it kept busy playing sessions mainly in Germany, Austria and a few in Switzerland and North Italy. Parallel to these activities, Geometric studio was created where exclusive music has been created and promoted. The sound system operated as Jah Sonic Sound between 2012-2016. From that period, two tunes were released on vinyl.
In summer 2016 the whole project moved to The Netherlands. Jah Sonic Muziek became an official company and I-Land Beat studio was created. The need to concentrate on music productions was more prevalent and the sound system activities officially stopped in 2019.
At this moment the main focus is on the production of music and there is many projects in the pipeline for ILANDBEAT Label.
